2. Hold down the ‘Home Button’ and plug in your iPhone to your computer with iTunes up and running. For the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, this is once again the ‘Volume Down’ button.
3. Release the ‘Home Button’ or ‘Volume Down’ button and you should now get a prompt on your computer that acknowledged your entry into Recovery Mode.
4. Proceed to restore your iPhone

Method 3: Using DFU Mode (Medium to Hard Difficulty)
For this second to the last method, we will go into the deepest parts of our iOS device - DFU Mode. This is considered the most difficult method since it requires good timing as well as preparation, unlike Recovery Mode. If you would rather not bother with the long procedure, you are welcome to skip.

However, if you are willing to go through with it, then here is what you need to know.We will now run you through the process, but before anything, we must prepare so that everything will run smoothly!

Preparation

1. Make sure that you have successfully backed up all your data. You can do this via iTunes or iCloud. It is imperative you do this!
2. Charging your iPhone or iOS device to at least 50% ensures that running stability.
3. Beware of what all the buttons on your iOS device do - Home Button, Power Button (a.k.a Sleep & Wake Button). For an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus, the Home Button is no longer relevant. In this case, the Volume Down button is used in its stead.
4. Have your USB cable ready, it should be Apple compatible.
5. Count your seconds properly or use a timer. It is very important since entering DFU mode requires exact timing.

Enter DFU Mode (iPhone 6, iPod or iPad or Older Devices)

1. Launch iTunes
2. Connect your iPhone or iOS device to your computer (Mac or Windows)
3. Shut off your iOS device. We need to do this via the buttons, so we have to press and hold the Power and Home buttons until the device shuts off.
4. Hold down the Power Button for exactly 3 seconds.
5. While still holding down the Power Button, press and hold the Home Button.
6. Keep both buttons held for 10 seconds, then at the exact moment when 10 seconds is over, release the Power Button.
7. Keep the Home Button held for 5 seconds.
8. Once you noticed your screen is staying black without seeing the Apple logo, you have successfully entered DFU Mode.

To indicate that you have entered DFU Mode, a pop-up will appear on your computer screen from iTunes which will state “Recovery Mode”. Do not mind this as in fact we have entered DFU Mode
*It is important to know that this method will require you to try and try again. Technicians have it on the dot, but since this is your first time, patience is ok

Enter DFU Easily Mode (iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus)

1. Get iTunes up and running on your computer, whether it is a Mac or a Windows PC.
