Game Pigeon Won't Let Me Play Crazy 8

How to Play Crazy Eights. Crazy Eights is a game where the players try to get rid of all their cards. You may even already know this game by one of its unofficial Pigeon Game is a fun action and power-up game in which you must control a pigeon and attempt to pluck all the delicious food in front of you. This game uses a single button. Let’s put that fighting spirit to work in beta and get this game polished so shiney you’ll need sunglasses to play. I’m all for that, which is why I’ve been testing for months, reporting bugs and working with various communities across Discords to get more info. I hope you can do your part as well.

It’s second hour, I’ve just strolled into my AP U.S. History class. Opening my composition notebook, I begin to copy down the bell work as my friends join me at our table in the back of the room.

After trying to keep my eyes open as we learn about the Thirteen Colonies for the third day in a row, my phone begins to vibrate against the table and I can’t help but restrain a laugh as the routinely texts roll in.

“You know the drill.”

Game

Before I can glance up from my phone, my friend is already nagging me to get on the group text and join the daily Crazy 8’s game.

Forget the colonies, I’ve got games to win. Game Pigeon — the iMessage extension that includes every two or multiplayer game I could imagine — is where I find myself yet again. Now Subway Surfers and Cooking Fever are ancient residents of my home screen.

Bored? Send a Cup Pong to a friend. Looking for a conversation starter? 8-Ball. In the middle of a meaningless argument? Crazy 8’s will solve it.

Now let’s break the games down.

Game Pigeon Won't Let Me Play Crazy 8 Games

Crazy 8’s

No doubt about it, Crazy 8’s remains superior. It allows for two to four players at a time and it’s fast paced when everyone is playing. With the “draw four” and “skip” cards lurking in the player’s hands, this game will show someone who their true friends are. This one is so good, we hide our phones under the table and prop it up behind our lunch boxes to play during class.

Cup Pong

Next up is Cup Pong — similar to the way it’s played in person, it doesn’t stay interesting for long. The only reason people send this game back and forth is for the sole purpose of wanting to beat their friends.

8-Ball

The most classic form of Game Pigeon, but, a little overrated. 8-Ball loses the excitement factor if your opponent leaves the chat.

Game Pigeon is a staple to iPhones. The fact that it’s free and so easy to access confirms that it needs more recognition than its given.

With no forms of physical board games or cards played by high schoolers anymore, Game Pigeon is the “cool” and “fun” option to bring humor into communicating through text. Not to mention, if it keeps teenagers off social media for even a little bit, who can be mad?

Dear bloggers,

I hope you are all having a good evening. I am in a blogging mood so I thought I would write something. I was about to say that I don't have much to write about but that is flat out not true. Tonight is Monday night of Labor Day weekend, and I had somewhat of an eventful weekend. We didn't have school on Friday so my weekend started Thursday night. Anika and Kelsey came over and we had a bonfire. We made s'mores and burned some papers; it was a good time. Anika was a real baddie and suggested that we put both milk chocolate and dark chocolate on our s'mores. I was a fan of the combo. I slept in on Friday and picked Dan up in the early afternoon. We listened to one of my CD's in the car on our way to school because I had to pick up some packets. That turned out to be a bigger hassle than I had anticipated, and we waited outside for about half an hour before we made it inside and waited in more lines for another half hour. We did all of that work for two packets and my final failed attempt to get my sweatpants from my gym locker. RIP to my OPRF Music sweatpants. I have tried to get them 3 different times to no avail, but I think this is my karma for not getting them that Friday in March. On a brighter note, we got to talk to Bobby in line at school. After that whole shindig, we went to my house and watched some Black Mirror and Avatar. I will use this part of the blogpost to say that I like Dan :) I dropped him off at home and I think we listened to my Dolly Parton CD in the car but I'm not sure. Saturday morning we drove up to Wisconsin and met up with my uncles and their families. The weather wasn't great this weekend for doing stuff on the lake, but we still had a good time. I made another good bonfire, but if I'm being honest, I was missing Lauren for most of the weekend. My younger cousins don't really want to hang out with me and my older cousins weren't there for most of the weekend, so I felt a little lonely. All was well when Taylar came up on Sunday. Shoutout to Taylar! It's kinda weird to think that the summer has already come and gone. Another season in the books might as well embrace fall and the school year now. We got home tonight around 8:30, and now I've just been hanging out with Juno. I should be working on some college application stuff and truly this post is just an embodiment of my procrastination. Alas, the post is written and the time has already been wasted. I am trying to manifest that this will be a good week. I hope you all stay healthy and have a wonderful week.

How could I forget?! I totally forgot to mention the reason that I titled the blog this name! Okay so there is a song by Tim McGraw called 'Something Like That.' The first lines of the song are 'It was Labor Day weekend I was 17 / I bought a coke and some gasoline / And I drove out to the county fair' and it is Labor Day weekend and I am 17! I literally I have been waiting probably since last summer for this very weekend to talk about this song. I didn't go to the county fair or buy gasoline or a coke, but I played the song a couple times. You can ask Dan I was so excited about the song. I won't ask you to do much, just please listen to the song. Especially if you are 17 on this Labor Day weekend. It is a special experience. Here is the link to the song I hope you listen to it.
